Teacher guide

Setting up your class

In about five minutes your class is ready. Each pupil gets their own Future Skills Passport, progress saves automatically, and you get a live class dashboard plus a one-click evidence PDF.

You'll need: a school email address and a few minutes. No passwords, no apps to install.
1

Sign in — no password

Go to the teacher area:

Teacher area
spark2.org/teacher.html

Enter your school email and tap Email me a code. We'll send a 6-digit code — type it in and you're in. Nothing to set, remember or reset.

The code can land in your junk folder. If you request more than one, only the newest code works.

2

Create your class

Tap Create a class and give it a name — for example “Year 6 Oak”. That's the only setup. Your class instantly gets its own join link and QR code.

3

Get your pupils in — one link

Open your class and you'll see the join options. The easiest way: tap Copy link or Share to Google Classroom and paste it into Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams or your class chat. Pupils tap the link and they're straight in — no class code to type, no passwords.

Prefer the board? Show the QR code instead and pupils scan it with a tablet or phone camera.

On the join page, a new pupil picks a first name or nickname, their age, an avatar and a 4-digit PIN. A pupil who has joined before just taps their name.

4

Pupils learn

Pupils tap Start learning and work through the lessons. Their progress saves automatically as they go — there's nothing for them to press or submit.

5

Track progress & get your report

Sign back in any time and open a class to see each pupil's progress across the 12 skills. Tap Download evidence pack for a one-page PDF — ready as evidence of PSHE / RSHE provision. Tick Anonymise pupil names to share it without naming children.
